Tuesday Thinger

So the question this week is- how many books do you have cataloged in your LibraryThing account? How do you decide what to include- everything you have, everything you've read- and are there things you leave off?

I currently have 323 books in my catalog. My only real criterion is that I own the book. I've got books I've already read in there, books I plan to read. I've even got a couple I know I'm never actually going to crack open, like a copy of the DSM-IV I got from a book sale at my college library for free just so I could see the look on people's faces when they see it on my shelf.

I don't think we have any "jaw drop inspiring" books on the shelves, but my husband's miniature cannon collection raises a few eyebrows!

I know I don't have any inspirational books though I do have a couple of first editions that are still packed away, along with my collection of dragons... they usually guard my books LOL

I have a mixture of read and unread books in my library too. I do have a copy of the DSM--but it's not just for decoration. There are a number of books I've logged in that are more my husband's than my own. I may or may not read the ones I haven't yet gotten to of his. We don't always see eye to eye with books.
